There is no doubt about it since the end of the 1970's there has been little new music of note.

Back in 1970 around the Pubs and Clubs of West Yorkshire, some young guys were bringing the newest and best music of the time to the expectant masses, One of those young dudes was Steve of times assisted by his mates Gordon, Ron and Ted, they introduced the sounds of Soul and Progressive Rock, many of there shows featured the cutting edge music of the Northern soul clubs in nearby Manchester.

Sadly those helicon days are long gone, but have no fear Steve is still around, and ready to put 'Bad Sign' Back on the road, Re branded 'Star Sign Disco', we intend to put on shows that will recapture those long ago times.

They will be shows planned by us beforehand to meet your requirements or theme, There wont be any naff music and so you wont be able to make requests on the night, if there is something that you particularly want to hear, then let us know beforehand, we will see if it fits in.

Be warned there are several outfits around that claim to be 60's discos, often they play only naff compilations, some even claim to have been formed in the 1970's, but that's just not true. There is only one Star Sign Disco and our roots really do go right back.

Note: We don't do Karaoke, there was no Karaoke in the 60 and 70's we don't do it!
