None of our other applications have been tested under Vista, but we dont expect to have any problems, To make sure always download a demo first.

VORTEX RELEASED

This month (January 2006) we have released the long awaited Vortex game. Its fully implemented (not a Demo) and free to download so there is no registration to worry about, just download and play, its a textual adventure with graphics, but don't expect a Playstation game Vortex is all about brain power and reasoning. Version 5.7.0.4 of MPGPro is now available,It includes the following new features.

The new version is the inclusion of sliding scale calculations in the Trip calculator. This means motorists will now be able to obtain more accurate estimate of trip costs.

MPGPro now has the ability to Track important events in the calendar of each of the vehicles entered. for example road Tax, Insurance and Roadworthiness test dates can be entered so that prompts will be given prior to the events, you need never forget about your road tax again, all the more important due to recent changes in UK tax Law

Several other small improvements have been made including the ability to make backups of the important data files and several improvements to the stability of the program. The online registration system has been completely rewritten

DATA SAFE BACKUP V2.0.0.0 IS NOW AVALIBLE FOR DOWNLOAD

Netbackup has been renamed Datasafe backup,, and is now released. New features include:-

A Wizard style interface, to make it easy for users to setup exactly the backup they require

Individual file selection, Traditionally Netbackup has used filters to allow users to quickly select groups of files, this feature will remain, but will now be augmented by a standard tree file browser enabling backups to be built from as many individual file types as you need.

Archive name selection, you will be able to name compressed archives using your own format as well as the existing automatically generated names.

Common File backup, file selection can be based on a set of common file extensions,the list of files to backup is rebuilt before each transfer.

A More colourful interface, netbackup looses much of the Windows 95 feel it had previously, it is fully tested under Windows XP and now has a More XP like Console.

Logging Feature, Entirely new and the final piece in the jigsaw that brings Datasafe Backup into line with any of its rivals. You can make logs of the backup procedure to ensure the safety of your data.

Multiple backup sets the current version of NetBackUp can only do one defined backup at a time. The new version will enable you to select and activate a sequence of up to eight different backup sets

An entirely new Web style help file,as well as many more pop up hints and topics.

Network access now use UNC naming conventions and no longer relies on 'Mapped drives'

8051Lab

DOS window remains open after compile issue. After the HiTech compiler has terminated, the DOS Window remains open and has to be manually closed by the user. This behavior is not required because 8051Lab can direct the compiler message output to file, so all Warnings, Errors and compiler messages can be viewed or printed. (Output to the DOS window may scroll off the screen)

To correct this:-
Compile your first project When the Compiler DOS window is displayed , as will be the case after the first attempted compile. Click the properties Icon at the Top of the DOS window (A hand holding a piece of paper). On the dialog box that appears check mark the box marked 'Close on exit'. Subsequent to this action the DOS window will close after the compile is
completed. If you prefer to view the Compiler output directly you can leave this item unchecked.
